Isaiah 41:10

'Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous hands'

Forever

All I felt was darkness.

Its form hung over me like a thick quilt of sin
Anguish, craftily stitched into its dark pattern
Sorrow, my only companion
But even she failed to surmount the emptiness
My core shivered with its presence

Can emptiness truly mean the 'absence of something'?
Surely not the emptiness within me,
For the emptiness itself was positively something,
Something that was desperate-
desperate to separate me from forever
I know of the forever that follows emptiness;
The only forever that could- fire

So, I did the only thing that could have been done
I shouted- shouted louder than emptiness itself
On my knees, I called
Face down, body low, soul open
I let His spirit fall, let His spirit wash over me, let
His love pour over my sinful head

Lights-
and their sweet guidance
He is a light
guiding me through the dark
The pure, brilliant light,
that leads us into the true eternity,
The forever of Heaven.

True Love

As I type this right now, I'm wondering what my life would be like if I had not come to Christ. Pretty sure I'd be a total mess. In fact, I'm pretty sure I would be a completely different person. I've realized recently that there is nothing in the whole wide-world that is more important to me then The Savior, Jesus Christ. I've also re-realized that I'm a sinner.

Because of God's love he gave us free will,
and with us being Humans and all,
well...we chose sin over a glorious God.
Now, I say "re-realized" because I kind of forgot about it. Sounds weird I know, but once I started following God....my past was erased.
More like washed away by the blood of Christ.
Everyday I thank God for this.

He loves us so much that he is able to forgive us, he is able to look past our wickedness and love us. That's a pretty hard thing to do don't you think? We're so unworthy of God's Grace that sometimes, for me atleast, it's hard to comprehend how Jesus could do such a thing, love such a thing like me! The love that he has for us is love in it's purest form, love that can surpass anything.
Now here comes the hard part, God wants us to love him in this same way. Seem's impossible right? How could you love someone you barely know? One whole life time of getting to know God could never scratch the surface of who God actually is. But, It's the first commandment, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart". So how could you do it? Well, here is how I look at it.

God is forever my king...he died for us.
What more could you ask him to do for you to be able to love him?
"We love him, because he first loved us." 1 John 4:19
We may never know God fully in this life time, but in Heaven...we will learn knew things about him every moment.
So, I'll love him with all my heart and I will follow him until the day comes where I will be with him in Heaven. Until we meet and he says, "Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Today as I write this blog post....I know that I do. Jesus is the almighty Lord!

As I look through my window, I see the sky.
I see the glory of the Lord moving through the light of the stars.
His glory is right in front of us.
And to know that some still do not notice Him, even when staring into the face of God's creation,
is..... Astounding.

This is one of my verses for the week: 1st John 3:18
"Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth."
It is one thing I also need to work on.
I need to show God through my actions, not just by word of mouth.

Building a Home for Jesus

I lay wood down on the foundation of my heart
nails pressed deep into my soul
I've mapped it out just for you
Each side wide and stable for the permanent stay
Walls of stone carved with your name
Bright Lights shine through the window panes
All I see is your beautiful face
I built a home for you
Wood stacked upon my chest
I built a home for you to rest
Each door left open
for my majesty
nothing left to hide
Oh dear Lord, stay and sleep
in the home I built for you and me.

This house has been torn down a thousand times
but your always there outside its doors
waiting for me to nail down the floors
Even when a tornado hits
and all my work is torn to bits
Your by my side with a hammer in hand
re-building the home that you had planned
Each nail digs deeper into my heart
knowing that we will never part.

With wood and nails
a life was taken
With wood and nails
life was given
With wood and nails
the son has risen

Walls of stone carved with your name
Bright Lights shine through the window panes
All I see is your beautiful face
I built a home for you
Wood stacked upon my chest
I built a home for you to rest.

Oh dear Lord, stay and sleep
in the home I built for you and me.

Glorifying Jesus in The Valley

"We all wish to go to the mountain top with God, and stay there, we say 'if only we could stay here with you, we would be good- and follow you.'
But the true meaning of life is to be in the valley, to glorify the lord. After death is the time we can be on his mountain top with our savior, forever. But for now we should pray to have every chance we get to be in the valley, and glorfiy our lord."
-Isabela Delclos

I can't remember if
I wrote this or if I heard it and changed it up, but either way it's saying that we all wish for the moments when The lord gives us peace and happiness. We pray that he gives it to us more often and we pray to have it for longer periods of time. We know that it would make it so much easier to follow his rules, to obey his teachings, to love others. If only we could have that peace in us forever. Jesus wants us to have this peace, but the true meaning of life is to be in this world to show everyone his glory. After death is when we will have FULL peace and happiness. He will always be there to give you peace and happiness on Earth as well, but you have to be in the world and go through the pain and the heart ache to serve Jesus and to follow the will of God. He gave your life purpose, Jesus gave your life meaning...whatever that purpose may be you must know that God wants you to glorify him during our time here in this world and that it was we were meant for. Being in the valley helps you to glorify him and to show the world that he is the one and only Savior of mankind and that with him you can get through anything, even the horrid trials of this world.

Heaven.

I can picture it.

The Joy of a child upon me again.
We graze in his holy lands and gather round like children.
He sits on his throne, smiling.
He knows every one of us well.
We smile and laugh and listen to his words for they are all true.
We feast and
pray and never sleep for the Joy is continuous.
I recognize my family, friends, and others
too, but do not realize those whom are missing.
Colors never seen, textures never felt, and knowledge never learned are over me now. I am
happy, smiling, running, for my feet tread no boundaries. No awful memory slips through my mind, for I live in God's home now.
A deep feeling settles and finally there is
peace.

Wondrous Lord

Wondrous
"I am driven by the lords glory.
I praise him for shedding his blood for all of the rotten sinners of this world, including myself.

For that act we were forgiven and if we accept the lords wondrous gift of salvation we will be found on the day of his return, and will be brought up into heaven with Jesus Christ our Savior and God."
-Isabela Delclos

Amen, God Bless you all!

This school semester has brought confusion, troubles, and a lot of hard work.
But Thanks to The Lord we CAN get through these days.

If you just remember that he loves you and remember what he has done for you, he will bring you peace.
I try to read and pray every night which brings me closer and closer to The Lord our God!

Remember, Jesus said "I made you, I know you, I love you. And I sacrificed myself for you, now let me transform you."
